Rings & Things Box

Once again I loved making this box - 

I've actually made this a couple of times, just with different names on it.

The corset is one of my favourite things to do - its so cheecky and a little naughty.  

I use real Swarovski beads on it and so they are really sparkly. The inside of the box 

is lined with black velt and has 12 compartments for rings and things. 

Photo Album

This is a photo album was also great to make.  I had fun with the actual cover of the book because it had the print of the flowers on and was able to play with the pewter and cover part of one flower.  

Oh I do love playing with my pewter - its such a giving metal.

Rose Tea Tray

Oh I did love making this one!!

Jewish New Year and Wedding Gift.

Memories Box

So this box has a great story.  I have a lady that goes on an annual retreat with a group of other ladies.  She asked me to make this box and then to make a little "book" so that each of the group can write her thoughts and memories and at the end of the 2 weeks they can give the box and book (which fits inside the box) to the lady that organises the retreat.I love doing this type of work - knowing that someone will forever be able to keep a piece of my work and that it will give them lasting memories!

Leto's Lady

This Lady is one of my most satisfying. I made her for my Goddaughter Leto who lives in Greece and it certainly was made with huge love in my heart!

The Windsor Castle

This was a commission that totally touched my heart.  The client's parents had met on the ship where the man was working and the lady was travelling.  They married soon after docking in Cape Town.  He died many years later and she never remarried.  The ship was commissioned by her daughter as a 50th birthday present for the brother - such happy memoried captured in pewter to make my heart warm.

Teaspoon Trays

This little tray was fun to make - loved both the size and the idea 

of putting teaspoons in a little tray rather than a cup.

This book is a great gift for men - no quotations but once again 15 images repeated 4 times.
